WEEK 2 Monday 27th April to Friday 1st May
In this week you will teach your child about Ramadan and what Muslims do in this month. Also, this week we are doing the Arabic letter Daal or you can choose any letter that your child is at. Download the PDF's above for all the letters. Use glue to stick any colourful paper on the letter. Make sure and ask your child what letter it is. Additionally, see below for pictures of what to read to your child about Ramadan. Its from the Safar Islamic Studies Textbook 1 page 68.



WEEK 3 Monday 4th May to Friday 8th May
In this week you will continue to teach your child about Ramadan and what Muslims do in this month. Also, this week we are doing the Arabic letter Dhaal or you can choose any letter that your child is at. Download the PDF's above for all the letters. Use glue to stick any colourful paper on the letter. Make sure and ask your child what letter it is. Additionally, this week you will teach your child about cleanliness. WEEK 4 Monday 11th May to Friday 15th May
In this week you will continue to teach your child about Ramadan and what Muslims do in this month. Also, this week we are doing the Arabic letter raa or you can choose any letter that your child is at. Download the PDF's above for all the letters. Use glue to stick any colourful paper on the letter. Make sure and ask your child what letter it is. Additionally, this week you will continue to teach your child about cleanliness. In Arabic keeping clean is known as taharah. Muslims must keep clean at all times. Allah loves us when we are clean and tidy. We must keep my body clean by bathing often. We must wash my mouth, nose and hair. I must brush my teeth before going to sleep and after waking up in the morning. I must always wear clean clothes and keep my home and the masjid clean. I must use the bins to clean garbage off the floor.
WEEK 5 Monday 18th May to Friday 22nd May
In this week you will continue to teach your child about Ramadan and what Muslims do in this month. Also, remind your child about keeping clean see week 4. The Arabic letter for this week is zaa or you can choose any letter that your child is at. Use coloured paper, paint or any other material to decorate the letter. Remember to teach them all the letters every day, by letting them see it and repeat it after you. This week we will do Who am I, it from the Safar Islamic Studies Textbook 1 page 24 (see below).
WEEK 6 Monday 26th May to Friday 29th May
As Ramadan is completed, Muslims around the globe celebrated Eid. Let your child watch the video about Eid. Also, revise all that was done so far.
WEEK 7 Monday 1st June to Friday 5th June
In this week you will teach your child the Islamic months see video below. Also, remind your child about keeping clean see week 4. The Arabic letter for this week is seen or you can choose any letter that your child is at. Use coloured paper, paint or any other material to decorate the letter. Remember to teach them all the letters every day, by letting them see it and repeat it after you. This week continue with Who am I, see week 5.
WEEK 8 Monday 8th June to Friday 12th June
In this week you will continue to teach your child the Islamic months see video above and write these months on flash cards to teach your child each day. Also, remind your child about keeping clean see week 4. The Arabic letter for this week is sheen or you can choose any letter that your child is at. Use coloured paper, paint or any other material to decorate the letter. Remember to teach them all the letters every day, by letting them see it and repeat it after you. This week continue with Who am I, see week 5.
WEEK 9 Monday 15th June to Friday 19th June
In this week you will continue to teach your child the Islamic months use the video above (see week 7) and flashcards. Also, remind your child about keeping clean see week 4. The Arabic letter for this week is saad or you can choose any letter that your child is at. Use coloured paper, paint or any other material to decorate the letter. Remember to teach them all the letters every day, by letting them see it and repeat it after you. This week continue with Who am I, see week 5.
WEEK 10 Monday 22nd June to Friday 26th June
In this week you will continue to teach your child the Islamic months use the video above (see week 7) and flashcards. Also, remind your child about keeping clean see week 4. Revise all that was done so far. Remember to teach them all the letters every day, by letting them see it and repeat it after you. This week continue with Who am I, see week 5.
